Students at A.D.U. learn through student-centered, case-based methodology. Students engage in team projects and presentations, service learning, immersive internships, as well as traditional coursework and virtual courses delivered through partner institutions. Our instructional models include:
- Professors of Practice – Leaders of corporations, international NGOs, and government ministries teach courses at A.D.U. based upon their extensive, current knowledge of the industries students hope to enter.
- International Visiting Faculty – A.D.U. brings visiting faculty from Harvard University and other universities around the globe to deliver intensive courses and engage in capacity building activities with local faculty.
- Virtual content delivery – Students participate virtually in courses from Harvard, Stanford, MIT, and other universities. For example, all A.D.U. students are required to complete Harvard’s CS50 course.
